STATION INFORMATION

Timeless cool. Only on the Avenue. Music That Matters. The Avenue 91.1 is the new radio concept in the Fox Cities. We are
a non-profit, 501c-3, radio station offering a mix of music that matters,
and giving voice to the service organizations in our community. This is
radio unlike radio as you have experienced it before. Our mission is to
be a part of your day, and our community, in a meaningful way. We are
supported by listeners and sponsors who also believe that radio should offer more than the same old song and dance. The music is timeless, and being part of this community is very cool. Wherever you are, you’re on the Avenue. It’s great to be on this road with you.

COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

Who said there's nothing new on the radio dial? Avenue 91.1 is a proprietary blend of artists ranging from Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday to Jamie Cullum and Norah Jones. From Frank Sinatra and Bobby Darin to Steely Dan and Pat Metheny. Who said there's nothing new on the radio dial? The Avenue format is assembled by an award winning

programming team every day, with the daily playlist carefully crafted to provide the exclusive soundtrack for The Fox Cities. It’s a Jazz mix unlike any you’ve heard in Wisconsin before.

The Avenue is the first really new format on radio in years. We play more tracks and a wider variety than standard commercial fare. It's the music mix you never expected to find on your radio dial. The presentation is hosted by artists steeped in the genre of Jazz. Internationally renowned Jazz Vocalist Janet Planet hosts "Planetary Rotations" on The Avenue every night. Singer/songwriter, EMX DVD Award Winner and son of legendary jazz singer Mel Tormé, Steve March-Tormé hosts our afternoon drive time on The Avenue.

Hosts who present the music without getting in the way. A mix of songs and artists you won’t find anywhere else. Building a stronger community in the Fox Cities. That's the Avenue. Avenue 91.1.
